Q. How much does OneApp cost?

A. Several factors contribute to the price of OneApp. In general, the contributing factors are the number of providers in your organization, the number of unique locations that will use OneApp, the number of end users and the software functionality that best fits your needs. Simply contact Sy.Med at (888) 796-3388 and ask for a OneApp representative or complete our request form. Additionally, a customized ROI analysis can be completed in about 10 minutes. Keep in mind, we have priced the product so that no matter what your size, your investment will be quickly returned.

Q. How is OneApp installed?

A. Due to its flexible architecture and scalability, OneApp can be licensed and installed on a wide variety of platforms. Installations vary from a stand alone PC to server, LAN, WAN, and thin client configurations.

Q. Does OneApp record, store and report all data necessary to appoint, privilege and credential health care providers?

A. OneApp enables organizations to successfully meet current NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance), JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) and URAC (Utilization Review Accreditation Commission) accrediting standards for provider information management in credentialing activities.

Q. How long does installation and training take?

A. Full installation and training typically takes 1–1.5 days to complete. A Sy.Med software specialist assists with online installation of the software, which typically takes 15 minutes per computer. A Sy.Med software trainer then trains the new end user(s) either online or onsite. Clients usually begin receiving value the first day. Whether OneApp is completing credentialing applications or generating DEA expiration reports for you and your providers, it simplifies your job and responsibilities immediately.

Q. Will my information stay confidential?

A. Yes, because all of your provider information is housed onsite. In fact, Sy.Med does not even have access to your data unless you authorize us to help you with a technical support database question. We understand the sensitivity of your data and have no contractual rights to see it or use it. Keep in mind, OneApp is not an Internet or Application Service Provider product offering.

Q. Is OneApp software HIPAA compliant?

A. HIPAA does not impact OneApp because practitioner credentialing information is not included in the current definition of Protected Health Information (PHI). Additionally, there is no such thing as HIPAA compliant software. Whether any software complies with HIPAA security regulations and standards depends on how the software relates to organization-wide HIPAA compliance activities. Sy.Med continues to review HIPAA regulations and related compliance matters that may apply to our products, services and clients. We work closely with our clients to support their privacy policies for credentialing information.

Q. Does OneApp work on every HMO, PPO, credentialing and privileging application?

A. Yes. Any application or form, of any kind, can be completed. By using scanning and data mapping technologies, OneApp completes every application on the credentialing entity's original form. Instead of producing a universal application, OneApp completes every unique application on the credentialing entity's form. It is on their application. In fact, most payers prefer to receive letter quality, complete, and accurate applications generated by OneApp. It makes their jobs easier to complete and your physicians get credentialed faster.

Q. What technology platform is required for OneApp?

A. OneApp is a Windows-based application that runs on a Microsoft SQL Server database. Server requirements include Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 or 2008, and Windows 2003 or 2008 server operating systems. Workstations require Windows XP SP3, Vista or 7 operating systems and Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 or 2010 software. Read detailed technical specifications.
